During the period 1999-2010
funding of UNFPA office in Kosovo, reached US$ 13 million.
At the present UNFPA Kosovo, the biggest project running is a USD 3 million joint UNFPA,
WHO and UNICEF project "Improving Health of Mother and Children in Kosovo".
In addition to other resources,
UNFPA each year allocates from regular (core) resources in average
US$500,000 to Kosovo office to support operational and program costs
such as financially supporting selected NGOs projects and institutions dealing with
issues related to UNFPA mandate.
