UNFPA Kosovo supported and facilitated roundtable with a motto “Stigma Fuels HIV” organized by Kosovo Aids Committee. “Zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination, and zero AIDS-related deaths by 2015 are achievable.” sais Ban Ki-Moon, the Secretary General, based on evidence of significant progress in preventing and treating HIV/AIDS in the past two years.

Theater performances against gender based violence

Peer education is one of the key technical methodologies for fighting and preventing gender based violence among youth. Implementing partners of UNFPA Artpolis organized a number of activities aiming to achieve increased knowledge on gender based violence, impact of religion in fighting this phenomenon, gender roles among youth and the population in general in Gjakova, Gjilan and Dragash with Albanian and Goran communities.
